Shining Stars is based in Western Community Primary School, Wallsend.
Here at Shining Stars, we appreciate how difficult juggling life can be.
Our mission is to make our parents life as easy as possible by providing a caring and nurturing environment that allows children to learn, play, be curious and make friends and most of all have fun while the grown-ups work.
We have been extremely fortunate to have carefully chosen highly qualified, passionate staff to work at Shining Stars. Our staff shares the vision that we all need to work together as a team to create a relaxed ‘family feel’ to help the children settle in as they would at home.
Shining Stars have their own outside area which is used daily by all children. A construction area, sand and tyres are all available for the children. The children also have access to planting seeds and flowers on a regular basis and a mud kitchen
Inside, Shining Stars offers a wealth of awe, curiosity, and wonder. Invitations to play with real-life materials combined with natural resources and loose parts allow children to become engaged in their own style of learning.
Children are allocated a keyworker. Your child’s keyworker will plan fun and exciting activities all based around your child’s interests. Daily handovers will let you know all about the fun your child has had and the added extra of our online software system allows you to be involved in your child’s journey too.
Come along and see for yourself the magic that Shining Stars offers!
